Happy New Year! I had a lovely holiday break filled with many social events, reading, yoga, Zumba, long bath soaks, home and office organizing, massages, and movies. In Nov. and Dec. I started a herbal apothecary group membership and an herbal certification course. I’m really looking forward to continuing to build this blog, and to all that is in store for 2013.
So, what have you been up to these days? I’m getting back into my work schedule now. I am still loving creating my own products as well as enjoying recent purchases from holiday sales. My big batch of herbal toothpaste that I made back on Nov. 3rd is still going strong; I have at least enough to last me until the end of January. Ah, the joys of making your own. Freedom, versatility, and constant improvement with each batch. Can it get any better?
I’m wishing each and every one of you a prosperous year filled with endless discoveries, transformations, and true happiness.
I have been behind the “scenes” for a long time. I indirectly discovered your blog through Trish (Earthly Reality). I love making my own products and incorporate different herbs into my concoctions… I enjoy your blog and trust me your floral bath soak is awesome! Enough of that..lol I’m actually very curious about this herbal course. I was hoping you could inform me about getting certified. This would be so fulfilling!
Thanks so much for coming center stage for a moment and letting me know how much you appreciate my blog. It means a lot to know that you find the recipes and other information I share helpful and enjoyable! Since I just began my studies weeks ago, I would like to immerse myself in my herbal courses a little more before recommending or reviewing them. I think that premature recommendations usually do more harm than good, which is why I thoroughly test recipes and products made by others before they even make it onto this blog. In the world of the instant, I often see bloggers and others reviewing beauty products, herbal supplements, and other items that they have used for mere days or weeks. I may be old-fashioned in this regard, but I value thoroughness and I only want to present the best for my readers, which is why I may use products for several months or even several years before recommending them. I hope that you understand, and I sense that you value this too, as a continued reader of this blog where I hope that this clearly shines through. In due time, I will share and tell all.
Happy New Year and best wishes to you!
Oooh! I understand. I’m open to any ideas or tips you may post on your blog… I look forward to anything you wish to share … Good luck on your journey …blessings!
